We are certain that the trouble-free operation and convenience added to your daily living will make you excited to be a CELEBRITY OWNER. Please read all instructions in this manual before attempting to operate the scooter. They are for your benefit and are essential for safe and proper operation. Through careful reading this manual and following its recommendations, you can ensure your CELEBRITY scooter will give you years of trouble-free service and enjoyment.
This manual is compiled from the latest specifications and product information available at the time of publication. PRIDE HEALTH CARE, INC. reserves the right to make changes and update any previous models. All changes and improvements to this product may cause slight variations in illustration and explanation between this manual and the product you received.
PRIDE HEALTH CARE, INC is not responsible for damage or injury incurred due to improper or unsafe usage of the CELEBRITY scooter. Mechanical or electrical defects will be dealt with on a contingency liability basis. The part or parts will be replaced, but no responsibility for any damage or injury can be implied to PRIDE HEALTH CARE, INC.
PRIDE HEALTH CARE, INC prohibits operating your CELEBRITY scooter while consuming alcoholic beverages. Such activity may impair your ability to operate the CELEBRITY due to prescribe medication or a physical limitation, please consult a qualified physician.
PRIDE CELEBRITY ELECTRIC 3-WHEEL SCOOTER: RULES FOR SAFE USE

CELEBRITY SCOOTERS SC-4000 AND CELEBRITY SCOOTERS SC-4400: WARRANTY

Three Year Limited Warranty:

• Structural frame components including platform, fork, seat post and frame welds.

• Drive train including transaxle, motor and brake:

• 1st Year: 100% replacement of parts cost

• 2nd Year: 67% replacement of parts cost

• 3rd Years: 50% replacement of parts cost

Three Year Warranty Exceptions:

• Transaxle; In cases where there is an increase in the operational noise level, the warranty will not apply. (This usually occurs due to abusive and excessive strain on scooter).

• Motor: If damage occurs to commutator of motor as a result of not replacing motor brushes after heavy wear to brushes. Motor brushes are wear items and will be warranted for one year.

• Brake: Three year warranty for electrical function of the brake. Brake pads are a wear item and will be warranted for one year.

One Year Limited Warranty:

For one year from date of purchase PRIDE HEALTH CARE, INC will repair or replace at our option to the original purchaser, free of charge, any part found upon examination by an authorized representative of PRIDE HEALTH CARE, INC to be defective in material and/or workmanship.
Battery warranty is covered by the battery manufacturer. Battery warranty is not covered by PRIDE HEALTH CARE, INC.
Warranty service can be performed by an authorized dealer or by PRIDE HEALTH CARE, INC. Do not return faulty parts to PRIDE HEALTH CARE, INC without prior consent. All transportation costs and shipping damage incurred while submitting parts for repair or replacement are the responsibility of the original purchaser.

Warranty Exclusions:

1. 1. ABS plastic shrouds are a wear item and not warranted

2. 2. Batteries (battery manufacturer provides a 6 month limited warranty)

3. 3. Damage caused by:

4. a. Battery fluid spillage or leakage

5. b. Abuse, misuse, accident or negligence

6. c. Improper operation, maintenance or storage

7. d. Commercial use or use other than normal

8. e. Repairs and/or modifications made to any part without specific consent from PRIDE HEALTH CARE, INC.

9. f. Circumstances beyond the control of PRIDE HEALTH CARE, INC.

10. 4. Labor, service calls, shipping and other charges incurred for repair of the product unless specifically authorized by PRIDE HEALTH CARE, INC.
    There is no other express warranty.
    Implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to one year from the date of purchase and to the extend permitted by law. Any and all implied warranties are excluded. This is the exclusive remedy. Liabilities for consequential damages under any and all warranties are excluded.
    Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or do not allow the exclusion of limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
    This warranty give you specific rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
