What the Warranty does cover

1. The Company will, as its option, either replace or repair, any goods found to be defective by reason of faulty materials or poor workmanship provided that:
2. The Company is notified in writing within 7 days of any such defects by the Customer and in any event not later than 12 from the date of shipping the goods, or for the gearbox within the lifetime of the first installation.
3. Examination by the Company of such goods shall disclose to its satisfaction that such defects exist and have not been caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation, improper repair, alteration, accident, or reasonable wear and tear.

What the Warranty does not cover

1. This guarantee does not extend to any consumable items, such as the batteries.
2. Damage caused in shipping (unless that damage is reported to MediTek Stair Lifts Inc. by telephone within 24 hours of receipt of the goods).

Easy Installation

An Installation Manual will be included with each stairlift and MediTek’s technical service team is always on hand ready to help.

You can also have a MediTek Factory Trained Engineer install the stair lift for you.

The installation process only takes an hour and is undertaken in the following sequence:

• Unpack the stairlift from its boxes
• Lay the rail along the noses of the stairs
• Secure the rail to the staircase
• Fit the carriage to the top of the rail
• Fit the plastic top stop
• Fit the seat to the carriage
• Connect the color matched wires in the seat wiring loom
• Level the seat and footrest
• Plug in the charger to a local power socket
• Connect the two wires from the battery charger to the rail terminal
• Attach the battery Lead
• Fit the cover
• Test the installed stair lift with supplied check list
