Easy to use- Fully variable speed control provides smooth starting
and stopping. A dial control allows you to set your maximum speed. The
electro-mechanical brake comes on automatically when you stop and releases
automatically when you start. A key lock is provided for security.

The SOLO is one of the best combinations of strength, power, and maneuverability
in a scooter- and now it is available for individuals up to 400
pounds!
The SOLO is only 45-1/2 inches long, and has a turning radius that makes
it as maneuverable as most small scooters - so you don’t have to sacrifice
indoor operation to get a heavyweight scooter.
The Heavy Duty Extras include:
Deluxe Extra Large Cloth Seats- A comfortable, fully upholstered cloth
seat that is wider and deeper than most scooter seats, The standard SOLO
armrests are adjustable to give you the width you need. (Minimum armrest
width is 26 inches, so the arms are the widest part of the scooter.) A vinyl
seat is available.
Front Anti-Tip Wheels- Located just behind the front wheel, they provide
extra stability in turns on level surfaces.
More Power- The Heavy Duty SOLO is equipped with added special gearing
to give the rider approximately 20% more power than the already powerful
SOLO Scooter.

I. USER CONVENIENCE
Tiller Adjustment
Easy-to-use release lever right at your fingertips. NONE BETTER.
Easy tiller adjustment allows for easy entry / exit from scooter
Four adjustment positions - not just three. (Plus 2 more when folded).
Shorter space between positions for more adjustability.
Lever easily reversible for L.H. or R.H. operation.
Seat
Large size than others (longer bottom and higher back. )
Better construction. Fiber pad on back of seat back for protection of vinyl. Thinner, firmer foam for more support without extra height.
Sturdier hinge construction. Can not collapse backward. Non pinch design.
Armrest pads more durable than upholstered ones.
Adjustable, flip up, removable arms.
Low cost Power Seat Lift available (Safari) that goes down to 19.5" off the ground. For sitting at tables or transferring from scooter to chair, van seat ect.
Seat Swivel
Positive swivel lock instead of friction lock is easier to operate for persons with limited hand strength.
Lock engages automatically - safer than operating with the seat unlocked and free to swivel.
Six locking positions - not four. Can be field installed to have either 45 or 90 positions to the front
Motor
Powerful 1.25 HP transaxle motor with metal gears - not plastic.
Stature transaxle/motor/brake. The fact that one company (Stature) manufactures and assembles all three parts of the drive means fewer problems with noise, assembly, wear, etc. In the end, a better scooter!
Vinyl cover over brake means fewer problems with dust and moisture - less trouble with dragging and premature wear.
Motor and brake can be easily replaced as individual components.
Smoother starting and stopping than many other scooters.
Transaxle is designed so that Ranger will be able to repair and rebuild the gearboxes after warranty.
Maneuverability
Shorter turning radius than most scooters.
40" Safari is comparable to front wheel drive scooters (better than some.)
Four wheel scooter is the shortest turning four wheel scooter on the market!
